LG Aria 300 - hold music

hi All

we have an ARIA 24ip system, the admin software (LDK PACdmin, SGLAD c.7Ag 2006.09.21 ) and firmware 3.9ec

Our hold music is real junky, is some default ARIA system jingle that every caller remarks how bad it is ! Just want some recorded music instead, not live radio or anything. I see in the LDK PCAdmin there is music at PGM 171. I have changed the MOH Type from 'INT MUSIC' to 'HOLD TONE' which is far better. But could be better - any quick way to assign music instead? I assume I choose VMIB BGM 1 but I don't know what to do after that, I assume set something on Station #10 ?

Note that I don't want to dismantle the ARIA or a handset, i.e. like thread 1701778 offers

Hi Luke

Get an MP3 player or radio or some type of music source with a headphone output. Then connect using a 3.5mm audio plug to RCA plug cable. Connect to the RCA socket on the side of the 24IP. Set music to external in PGM 142/6 for the trunks you have.
