I'm trying to troubleshoot as to why this printer will only print from Tray 1. It has both an envelope feeder installed and a expansion tray installed.
Going through the printer's LCD setup displays, the second tray and the envelope feeder are both detected. Both are set with the type of paper that is loaded, size 10 envelope for the envelope feeder and labels for Tray 2.
The printer is set up as a network printer using an AXIS print server.
On the PC side I'm using MS word to test print envelopes and labels. For the envelope printing options if I choose Auto Select, Tray 1, Tray 2, or MP feeder, then the print job comes from Tray 1. If I select manual envelope then it beeps wanting me to load letter paper in tray 1. When I have it continue then it still spools from tray 1.
For labels no matter what tray is selected it always prints from Tray 1.
I've been in contact with Lexmark and they have no solution yet.
If anyone has some insight into this I'd greatly appreciate their help.
