My printer keeps telling me it has a 241 printer jam....any body have any idea what this error means. Lexmark knowledge base is not any help at all

It's a paper jam code for Tray 1 (manual)...check for obstruction or stuck sensor.

is there paper jammed when you remove the toner cartridge?
if not, try cleaning the grey rubbery pick-up roller that sits above the front of the tray ...

use a slightly damp cloth and carefully wipe all the way round. over time, the roller picks up grease etc and won't pull the paper into the feeder; only thing the rpinter knows is that paper is not passing through, so flags it as a jam.

(the above is true for kyocera fs printers too!)
