Have an error come up when printing docs suck as PDF. Error reads Resolution Reduced. Not a problem with text docs. Printer has 4 MB memory. Any suggestions?

Thanks, been there. They have replied but offered no solution. I thought maybe adding memory to printer might be the best solution, who knows?

The reason it prints text documents with no problems is because they are not as much as a resource hog unlike PDF documents. If they offered no solutions it is more than likely a memory issue. The printer does have the capability to have more memory added to it. It doesn't really list a maximum but it's standard is 68MB, you can add a 64MB chip if you feel comfortable doing so. Another option you can do is go into the setup and lower the job buffer size. It shouldn't kick up that message, but that's not a definite. Enkrypted
