We're thinking about upgrading primarily because CR 9 users need to publish reports.

Can anyone give me a labor estimate on migrating?

We have CE8.5 on a single server platform (concurrent user).
About 60 reports.
Local intranet use.
Using SMTPmail and WIN NT logon.

P.S. no hidden "gotchas"?

TIA,
DN

Single server, not too many reports, all simple stuff...shouldn't take too long.
Things to plan for before you go ahead include:
* The enhanced import wizard will bring over instances, but will not recreate any recurring schedules. It will create a log file that you can use to automate the process (with some csp) code, or you can simple reset them manually - depending on how many you have. There is a good whitepaper on the wizard on the Crystal site.
* Map out how your security is set up - as far as groups and folders goes - so you can recreate it in CE9.

Apart from that there's nothing else that stands out based on what you've said above.

cheers...Jen
