Lesson learned from DST patch

My DST patches have been installed and I thought I would post a lesson that I learned. When I down loaded the patch, as expected IE 6 added the [1] to the file name which I removed (thanks mikkeydidit for that info) and then proceded to save the file to my laptop. What I didn't notice unitl the file was uploaded to the server was that IE 6 also removed the .gz at the end of the file name. So what I had to do was to goto a dos prompt and use the "rename" command to add the .gz back onto the file.
 
Yes, MSIE always does that to gzipped linux files. I really don't know why, though.

I use the browser, Firefox, and don't have that problem.
Firefox is just so much more stable, and imo more user friendly.
