I am trying to suppress a date in a crystal report that shows up like 12/30/1899. I have my report options set to
convert date-time field to Date.

I only want to supress the field not the line, so I am doing this through the field format editor.

I just need to know how to type the formula as a < or an = date?

<=12/30/1899 does not work, so what do I need to type to indicate that this is a date?

Hi,

The customary and courtious thing to do in this case, is to share your found solution with other Tek-Tip members, if you please.

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

I was able to do a less than or equal to when I showed the date as follows.

{table.date} <= date(12/30/1899)

Thanks
