Hello Team members.
For long time i was using gmail to send out alarms, recordings and message forwarding on bcm50r6.
Recently i discovered that this was not possible any more.
I logged to the gmail and found many emails saying that google blocked access to an application.
this is the exact text i am getting :

Less secure app blocked
Google blocked the app that you were trying to use because it doesn't meet our security standards.
Some apps and devices use less secure sign-in technology, which makes your account more vulnerable. You can turn off access for these apps, which we recommend, or turn on access if you want to use them despite the risks.
Any ideas how to bypass this?
I need to setup mail forwarding.

thanks.

That is usually s message from an Apps like on smart phones etc.

Are you saying you are not getting any emails from BCM?
Are there alarms about emails not being sent?
Does it indicate that it is from user@BCM (or what ever it is setup as)

In other works are you sure it's the BCM not playing well with Google and not another device?

EM-Config/AdminAccess/EmailAccounts and Callpilot/SystemProperties:

smtp.bcm@gmail.com
Port 465
TLS and SMTP Auth - both checked

The DNS settings shouldn't matter as long as they're valid. I use OpenDNS instead of the Google DNS IP addresses.

Personally I've had it with Google trying to protect me from myself. I use my GoDaddy account in email settings and have had no problems. The same port 465, TLS and SMTP auth are both checked. I also use this account for message forwarding.

The Chrome browser is also a major pain in the ass. Constantly blocking me from browsing to sites because they're "not secure." I now use Opera or Firefox.

I also used to get grief while trying to do Google searches. I'd get diverted to a page saying there was "suspicious activity" coming from my IP address and have to solve a captcha page to continue. No such issues with DuckDuckGo.

Goodbye Google. I can't say I miss you at all.
