I'm troubleshooting a CCIS link that's up and down, and am wondering if I am looking at the right LENS? I converted the LENS referenced below to 020160. Is that correct? I ask because when I reference ASPA/AFRS/AOPR/ATRK, I'm seeing another LENS altogether. And I have multiple CCIS links. And the conversion from the alarms MG, Unit, and Group, when I'm dealing with LP2, still confuses me.

I have support through NEC, but was hoping I could get a quicker answer through you gurus.

Thanks!!

Forgive my ignorance, but I had this same conversation with an NEC tech a while back. I thought the similar to what LENS you came up with, but he was adamant that I was incorrect. He said that LP00 VS LP02 designates different PIMs, and to be careful when trying to convert my alarms to LENS. I have 3 PIMS on this IPX. If I am looking at LP00, I think the LENS would actually be 001160?? But maybe that's why I'm all confused.

This is what I use to reference, and is pulled from
From the above link said:
The LENs are assigned according to the location of the card in the PBX that is connected to the line. Our LENs are six digits long, and are comprised of the module, partition, card, and line that serve the particular station. (Note: Some previously undiscovered NEC documentation ("NEC NEAX2400 IMX System Operations and Maintenance Manual") refers to "module" as "module group (MG)", "partition" as "unit (U)", "card" as "group (G)" and "line" as "level (Lv)". It provides the following shorthand notation to describe a LEN: LENS=MG+U+G+Lv.)

To determine the LEN, you must determine each of these numbers and concatenate them. If you open the doors to the PBX, you'll see something like the diagram below:

The card in question is located in PIM 0, Unit 1, slot 22, groups 16/17/18/19

Your Fault message indicates LP02

this means that your card is in 021160 thru 197.

Sorry, 3racefan3 is correct. I missed the LP02 in the alarm message.
