Hi All,

I have a formula field witth this statement :
Len(CStr(PageNumber))

In Computer A , the result is : 4
In Computer B , the result is : 1

What setting in control panel , regional setting or anything that can make this different result ?

Thanks very much for the info,
Krist

One computer probably has the default setting for numbers set to 2 decimal places while the other it is set to 1

1.00 versus 1 for page numer one.

Oo to File/Options... On the Fields tab, pick Numbers. Pick the number tab to see the default number format. Mike

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.

It could be that if it occurs in Preview of Crystal Designer where the setting of File/Options applies.

BUT, it occurs when the report previewed using Print Engine API (PE) from my custom application,
Does setting in File/Options still apply here ?

Thanks a lot,
Krist

I don't know. I have no experience in that area.

Another possibility would be to check in Control Panels - Regional Settings. There is an option in there for number of decimal places. Mike
