Not sure what you are asking exactly. If you saved a backup to inSPM and converted it to Magix R3. You should then upgrade the processor from Legend R7 to magix R3 - then restore you converted backup file to the newly upgraded processor. It is also wise to put the processor in the correct mode (Key or Hybrid/PBX) before you perform the file restore from your PC.

i have the maxic pro. and i am log in how do i put the maxic in hybird mode

system program, start, system, mode, - choose Hybrid/PBX and press enter. The system will restart and disconnect you.

Reconnect and "restore" your converted backup file.

i tried in wont let me select hybird mode just key is there something else that i need to do

If the programming you are backing up was in Key mode - you don't have to change anything - so ignore what I said earlier. IF the programing was in Hybrid/PBX mode - then you need to change it to Hybrid/PBX mode.

If you cannot choose that option from WinSPM - then your procesor has its dip switches set to permanent KEY mode. You need to shut the system down, remove the Processor module, turn the module so that the back edge is facing you. At the right-hand side of the edge connector - you will see a small square box with two dip selectors. Use a small screwdriver to change both dip switches to the opposite setting - I believe up. They are probably both set to the down position.

Put the module backin and turn the system on - reconnect with WinSPM - and now you should be able to change the mode to Hybrid/PBX.
