Hello all. I have a site with a Magix system at site A and a Legend system at sites B and C. The sites are connected by a point to point 12 channels each. The proper cards re installed at each location, i know this because calls can be made between site A and site B, and site A and site C. My problem is when trying to call site B from site C. Listed below are some of the prints....

SITE A:
A Range Ptn Dgt Range Ptn Dgt Range Ptn Dgt

Pool 892 is the pool connecting site A with site B
Site B has a dial plan from 600 to 640
this is using pattern # 1
Pattern 2 & 4 are for remote access for me to get in.

Pattern # 3 is for pool 893 which is for connecting site A & C.

Now site B's print.

Make sure trunks passing calls through are unrestricted.

Lines and Trunks>Remote Access>Tie & Non-Tie>Unrestricted

So there's no direct link between BC? Those calls are made via "A", so that it's B->A->C, right?

Just for fun, set the FRL in Pool 892 and 893 to 0 and see what happens.

Correct, there is no direct link between b & c.

I changed the frl's all to 3 and I was then unable to call into the main facility and have the voice mail system transfer my calls to b and c.

I also then changed all the FRL's to 0 and still can not call from b to c nor c to b.

Thanks again

My bad on the FRL. I work with Definity all the time, and the FRL setting is the reverse on the Magix (0 is least restrictive on Definity, and most restrictive on Magix).

However, you reported that you tried FRL=3 on all switches, which is what I was trying to recommend.

1043 is right in that each switch ID has to be unique. We haven't addressed that up 'til this point. Please post back with that info.

By the way, what are you hearing when the call fails? Silence or Turkey Tone (aka Reorder Tone or French siren)?

YES setting the switch id to a unique # did correct this.

my thanks to all dagwoodsystems, 1043 & Ken T

Thanks again
