When a call comes ins and the AA answers and your press ext 17 it rings, and about 50% of the time it goes back to the AA Greeting and 50% of the time it goes to Ext 17 Voice mail after it rings, Seems that just started happening.
Rebooted phone system & Voice Mail, deleted ext 17 from Group 30 and reprogramed, and no changes.
It semms to happen only on ext. 17.
Ext 25 has a coverage button for ext. 17
Has any one experienced this problem? Any sugestions?

You need to increase the Transfer Return Timer, which is done in Options | Transfer | Return Time.

You've got a sitch where the standard 3 rings at x17 sends the caller to x25, which then gets perhaps another 2 rings BEFORE going to voicemail.

So you gotta make sure the value in the Transfer Return is greater than the sum of the ring values in all those coverage points.

Thank You Dagwoodsystems I tried your suggestion, but while it did not make a difference I realized that Ext. 25 had 2 coverage buttons for ext. 17. Thanks again for your reply.
