Legend R7 MLX-10D froze while I was doing a single renumber extension

Question to Merlin Legend R7 users.. I was dialed into a system to setup remote access, and I do not know what happened, but it lock-ed up an MLX-10D phone where now the user can recieve calls, but cannot make any calls. When he presses any button, nothing happens - neither on the keypad or features buttons... any suggestions? We have tried the obvious unplug / replug station set.

don't think it was anything related to what you were doing.try another phone in that jack

You are correct.. another set works in this port / this phone does not work in any other port. Just a case of bad timing.. Thanks for the reply. I am just getting a bit jumpy since I locked this system yesterday looking at the MOH port settings via Standard SPM - caused all users to get "System Busy - Pls Wait" until users screamed at me, at which time I ABORTED the operation.

there are a few things that you can get into that require the system to be idle(no calls in progress)moh is one of them. no need to panic its normal
