I thought there was a dial test for testing each touch tone receiver in a system, I can't seem to remember it, did it start *04, etc? Help Help. By the way, the switch does not show any TTR errors, but the customer has an IVR that sometimes transfers calls to the operator and her extension is not in the IVR A/A, I am assuming it is getting there through "unassigned extension".

*04 then the 2 digit TTR number followed by:
123456789*0#.

will give a 3 tone burst if good.

Or a two tone burst - if good. Not getting a 2 tone or 3 tone series of beeps after entering the sequence described above - indicates a problem with the specific TTR - which go in order by module. You can also check TTR's in maintenance - to see if any have been busied out because of recurring problems. The processor error log may also show TTR-related errors.
