In your respective travels, has anyone ever seen an "autodialer" application for a Legend or Magix? The idea is to have the user sit at their desk, and dial from a database, with their computer, to their respective customers, then connect to their respective MLX phone.

I'm not looking at Passageway on purpose.
I'd welcome any good ideas.
Thanks

It's called Pasageway, OH WAIT, YOU DON'T LIKE THAT!

You are probably looking for a PREDICTIVE dialer, like the Telemarketers use.

Any of those should work.

You would place this ahead of the Legend and, once it knows it has a sucker on the line, it would cut the call thru to a Loop Start Line Port and ring it.

That line port could be in a calling group of which the MLX is an AGENT and BINGO! they get the call!.

I do not have any knowlege of which ones have been used with the Legend, but again, probably any would work.

There's a couple listed on eBay, but they ain't cheap.

Does that sound like what you are looking for?

Kind of, MM, but since the company is on a PRI, it's going to be a little tricky. I was thinking of something that would jus ttransfer the call via hookflash to the calling group, but again, I don't kow what is available.

I'd look at the specs for the ones on sale on eBay for a start.

That's a start.

If you want to switch over to Vonage for your phone line (VoIP service), they have a PC application "Click to call" that lets you highlight any text on the screen and press a hot-key to dial it. Works with any phone system, sort of. Probably wouldn't work in a large office, but then Vonage is designed for small offices.

A few years back I installed a Legend with 8 ISDN lines using the BRI channels. The dialer used analog lines so I used 012 cards. The dialer would get a "live one" on the line and switchhook flash and transfer to a calling group. This would work on PRI or any other trunk types in the legend.
I cannot remember the type of dialer other than it used analog (T&R) lines provided by the Legend.

Thanks, If you think of it emial or post back.
