Hi all, one of my customers printed out the incorrect extension in the local paper and it runs for 2 weeks. So the add reads to call in and dial extension 10 when it is suppose to say dial extension 110. Is there anyway to make this work?? Customer calls in and dials 10 to forward that to 110? Thier system is setup for 3 digit which starts at 100->120...

Thanks

Nope. You could change selector code 1 to transfer to x110, but then nobody else could be reached through the attendant. I would have them change the AA greeting to "Please Stop and listen to this whole message, for x press 110 etc".

If you renumber 100-109 to something like 200-209, you will then be able to renumber 110 to 10. You need to free up anything that starts with 10X, so you won't have a conflict with 10.

Be sure to make a mailbox for 10 as well.

Also, you could leave 110 alone, make an adjunct 10, and forward it to 110 (or use a coverage button) and you would be able to track the calls coming to 10 instead of 110.

But if you renumber an adjunct to 10, it messes with extensions 100-109.

That was a continuation of the previous thought, you still need to renumber 100-109 to something else, like 200-209, so you can renumber an adjunct to 10 and cover/forward it to 110.
