We are looking to set up an employee at home with an extension off the legend - i know there are no IP options but any thoughs / suggestions would be appreciated.

Actually, there are some IP options.

Multi-Tech makes several devices that can convert a T&R extension (among other things) to be sent out over the internet and received at a remote internet address.

You may want to look at thier stuff:

Just to confirm - analog extension on legend to ip gateway to ip gateway on other end to single line set? - are they actually as simple to deploy as they apeear?? any horror stories out there? thanks.

I'm very interested in this as well. Have you done this yet Merlin Man? I have customer wanting to somehow do this as well.

When Multi-Tech first came to Lucent we set up Tie Line access between a Legend in NJ to one in Colorado.

It worked.

That was one of their early models, and I have been told that their newer stuff is even better.

I think we are about to implement one between a Legend here in Colorado with several Partners in different states.

I'll know if it's a go or not after the 1st of the year.
