Legend distance limits for 016, 012 or opt cards 2

I need tp know the max distance for 2500 sets on a magic
with 016 ring cards. I,m getting a little induction hum
at 4000 ft. Would opt cards take care of the problem?

What kind of cable are you using to extend the station 4000 feet? In an airport environment 4000 to 6000 feet is a common length and no hum is detected.
