We need some technical design help setting up video conferencing equipment for a client that has a Legend R6.1 system and a T-1.

The T-1 is provisioned with 17 channel to voice and 6 channels to data (ISDN for video conferencing).

We were thinking that a Lucent SuperPipe router might be the solution, but it doesn't look the best solution.

Any ideas on the simpliest hardware/software solution to use to set this VC system up would be appreciated. Andrew Roach

If you have a mlx card then you could just bond the mlx station with the adjunct and the port will become a isdn 4 wire port. System programing>start>More>data>2bdata enter the adjunct that is associated with the station port. Thats all you need to do. In the video conferencing unit the line identifier would be the entension number of the station for the first isdn and the adjunct extension number for the second one. If you are using a polycom video conferencing unit I think there is a auto detect number screen. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Thanks,

That was all we needed.
