DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ON A LEGEND 7.0 IF SOMEONE USES THE 799 PAGE TO COME OVER ALL PHONES CAN ANOTHER USER DIAL A CODE TO CONNECT TO THE PERSON WHO MADE THE PAGE MEET ME PAGE THE PERSON WHO DIALS 799 STAYS ON THE LINE TO WAIT FOR USER WHO WAS PAGED TO CONNECT THANK YOU

The problem is the person dialing 799 may not know what extension they are using on the old merlin 820d2 they said they could dial a code

Ah Yes, we fix one thing and break something else.

Certainly, when the LEGEND was introduced, nice features of older products went away. Just as has been done to Legend/Magix with IPOffice.

Did you know, the MERLIN II had a feature called BUSY BUSTER, a "ROBOTIC REDIAL THE LAST NUMBER 'TILL YOU DON'T GET A BUSY AND THEN RING ME" feature.

But alas, I digress, SO BACK TO YOUR ISSUE!

However, there is a solution/work around:

What you can do is, when you do the ALL PAGE, announce to the person "PICK ME UP AT 123". THEN you can call a T&R Extension, IN THIS CASE 123, and, because it will be ringing, WITH YOUR CALL, they (The person you paged) will be able to PICK IT UP. (#9 123)

(Or, as you suggested, JOIN YOU.)

Of course, 123 has to be a real T&R Extension that no one is using. (Such as a PHANTOM on your MLM-007 or something...)

OR, it can be a NON T&R Extension, with coverage, but that's another story all together, and hopefully, we will not need to go there.

What's wrong with properly labeling all the phones with their own extension numbers? Then, I look at the phone I am paging FROM, and page the person to call me back THERE.
