My client has a Legend 5 & Intuity Audix R4. The Intuity was hit by lightning and is experiencing ( panic page drops ). Avaya said this is very bad corruption and at a minimum the hard drive will need to be replaced. I have proposed the new Merlin Messaging. As a preventative measure, I would like to create a backup answering extension/group to answer incoming call if the intuity completely fails.
?? Should I goto to the (AA) Call Group 770 and set the overflow threshhold timer to say 5 seconds, then send to new Call Group (771). The problem is I wanted to ring approx. 5-extension at the same time if the AA fails and with the call group feature, it will only ring one at a time. If an ext doesn't answer it will logout the ext and try next etc. Also the operator is DLCC.
Any suggestions??
