Legend 007 vs external r3 VM

I am a putting together a legend system form my office. I have gathered together from ebay a r7 processor, 3x408 mlx, 012 with ring and a bunch of phones. I can't decide which VM to gop with, the internal or external. I have been told that they are functionally the same.

I have ordered a copy of winspm v8. I asasume it will be easier to program that way. I am not a telco guy, but have lot of computer experence as well as being fairly techniocal. I have put together other systems like a telemagic and an old perception and TIE systems.

For our needs, the system needs to be a key system.

They are functionally the same, but not all Merlin Mails are Y2K compliant. Merlin Mail needs to be R3.05 or higher to be compliant. All MLM 007's are compliant, so I would recommend going this route.

Thanks. If I get one that is not 3.05 or newer, is there somewhere I can download the new software from. Will I be able to upgrade it?

There is no software upgrade. Only way to upgrade is to Ghost the hard drive.
