Do I need to create a separate job to back my ms sql database using the legato sql module. Tried to use the nsrsqlsv command with a normal system backup and it failed.

We usually create a separate client for SQL. This way, I can get my normal NT backups, and have SQL backup at a different time/schedule. Create the client twice, specify "All" as the save set for one instance, and "MSSQL:" for the other.

As long as you have the SQL client installed on the SQL Server and enabled on the Legato server, all you have to do is specify MSSQL: (instead of "All") as the save set, NSRSQLSV as the remote command, and provide the username and password for the remote user (we use the "sa" account).

Should work fine  - Bill
