Legato Networker UNIX Scripting

I have recently started working with Legato Networker while trying to learn about Oracle Backups. I'm using the Legato that comes with Oracle8i which I think is version 5.5 or something like that. Anyway, what I'm trying to find out is information about automating operations with Legato through UNIX scripting so that I don't have to always use the GUI that came with Legato. Could anyone suggest a resource that I could reference about this type of scripting? Right now I'm just going through the man pages for each binary, but I would really like to get my hand on some free information about how each binary fits together.

I would suggest looking at the man pages on certain key commands (mminfo, nsrjb, nsrclone, etc...)
