Legato Networker / ATL fiber P3000 problems

[GAQ2]

We need some Legato Tuning suggestions for our Fiber converted ATL P3000 in new SAN configuration..The basic issues are tapes being marked as FULL after getting the Legato generated error messages. At one point we could only write about 128mb to tape..to the latest 1gb per tape before media full occurs. Understand the environment "works" but randomly fails over time... end result Legato sees no available media to write to available...

Hi,

It looks like a device driver problems.

Bus rest means that the scsi gets reseted in the middle of writing/reading.

I would:

1.Check for problems with your device drivers for Fiber.
2.Check carefully the system log for scsi/other HW errors. "Long live king Moshiach !"
