Just deinstall the old packages in the opposite order as they appear in the list. Then install the new software to the same path in the order as they have been listed before.
Since you're one of the experienced user migrating from V7.1.2 to V7.2 --
what are your observations on this new version?
are the new features appealing to you?
can you enlighten me with specific reasons why i should migrate to V7.2, if it'll be okey with you..
I am in the end of a new Legato implementation. We initially installed 7.2 (Windows 2003). After a couple of issues and talks with support we are upgrading/downgrading to the newer 7.1.3.
It looks like 7.1.3 is a newer release and fits my needs better.
Actually I am planning to install Networker 7.2 in Solaris 8 environment, and we have Also Alphastor-- I want to know how or in what way can we utilize Networker 7.2 so as to remove our Alphastor.
Since NW 6.1.1 you only need Alphastor when you must share your hardware between multiple data zones. If this is not a requirement, Alphastor (just) gives you an intelligent media management but it is not required for drive- and jukebox-sharing.
