networker media: (info) verification of volume"backup.007", volid 2363152385 succeeded.

can anyone explain

thanks in advance

Like the message says, the tape is full.

(C:\>net helpmsg 1100

The physical end of the tape has been reached.)

Cheers for responding, Maybe I should have been more specific.
The error that is confusing is the middle one.
Compression is enabled so why is saying it is full when it reaches 56GB of a possible 70GB.

No. The tape has a minimum of 34Gig. Maximum of 70G. You will almost always get somewhere in between.
So, 56 Gig is normal. It all depends on the type of data being backed up.
ie, lots of straigh text documents = lots of compression therefore closer to 70 Gig.
Databases that have already been compressed = not a lot of compression therefore closer to 35 Gig.

networker media: (notice) dlt7000 tape backup.007 used 56GB of 34GB capacity.

make sense?

Thanks very much for your help
