I have recently instituted the use of legato replistor and it works great. I would like to setup another offsite backup server. At my new location i have a cable modem and a linksys router. Does anyone know what port the legato replistor software uses so i can set it up to forward to the correct server?

Thank You Deklin [yinyang]

try just connecting the remote backup server to the cable modem and loading tiny firewall, see what ports it comes up with. Once you have those you can go back to your old config and forward those ports

what is tiny firewall? Deklin [yinyang]

It is a piece of software that acts a firewall on your system. It will report on connections to your system and from your system. you can select what you want to do allow/deny it will also give you the ports that are being accessed.
