legato 7.2 storagenode problem

I have legato version 7.2 installed on the networker server.
I also added a second solaris9 host with a installed legato 7.3 Storage Node.

On the storagenode I've configured with jbconfig the storagenode given the NSR server host as Networker Server hostname.
The networker server has a L180 Library with four LTO1 Drives.
The storagenode has a L500 Library with two LTO-3 Drives.
If I give the nsrjb command it shows me the 2 jukeboxes

1:rd=storagenode.my.domain:L500
2: L180

If i choose the second, it shows me me all the 174 Slots in our L180.

But if I choose the storagenode, the following error was given: nsrjb: SYSTEM error: I/O error

If I give the same nsrjb command on the storagenode host, whith the correct NSR server hostname it shows me correctly the 50 Slots

Why can't I remotely get the Slot output when on the NSR server host ?

Are there different blocksizes for the Tapes come to pay ?

Any ideas ?

First of all, such configuration is not officially supported. Your server should have the latest release, not the SNode or client. You should correct this as this could already cause compatibility problems.

Using nsrjb, NW will just tell you what is inside the database. It does not use the hardware at all. So the blocksize does not matter.

Sorry, I made a mistake in the description of my problem.
The networker server and storage node are at the same version level 7.2

If the jukebox is configured on the sn, then you must run nsrjb from the sn.

They may be a switch for nsrjb to allow this to run from the server, not sure, would have to check manual.

And do not forget that you are a NW administrator before you run jbconfig.
