The printer properties should be saved with the report, if you set them when the report is open in Design View. At least I've had no problem choosing orientation this way, though I haven't changed paper size that I can remember.
If you've tried setting the properties in Design View, it may be a problem with your users not having the same printer model. If that's the problem, I'm afraid I don't know how to overcome it. Rick Sprague
