Hi.

I have a report that I set to print landscape, on legal paper.

I have auto correct turned off, but it keeps reverting back to standard paper anyway.

I dunno why.

I dunno why either. But some thoughts...

Do you have more than one printer? If so, does this happen when you print on all printers?

If you are printing on the Default printer, is there some setting in in that refers to Letter size paper, so the report settings keep reverting to its setup?

If you create another 'test' report, maybe in a blank database, with the same paper setting, does the same thing happen with it?

(I have a thingie hanging on the wall by my desk. It's called "The Computer Club." Worst comes to worse, I use it.)

Hi Tom.

Yup, you are correct. It is a multi user application and some users' default printers default to the wrong paper size.

So I now know whats causing it. Any ideas on how to fix it? I thought about vba to force it to legal each time it opens, but not sure of the references.

Thank you,
ChaZ

Not sure, but take a look in VBA Help for prtDevMode.

But I just looked there and, man, the code is long!

The function is interesting.

It works, even if you don't have exclusive access, but if you don't, it lets you know that you can't save changes.

I will work on resolving that. Either way, I think I got my solution!

Thank you very much,
ChaZ
