I keep hearing about the SX2000 maintenance (telnet) interface getting locked down in a future 3300 load, so maybe it's time to think about what legacy maintenance commands and diagnostic tools we use in the telnet interface that aren't available in the ESM (GUI) interface. Example, why are we venturing into the command line interface to do things? (don't say because it's faster)
Things like "DBTAB 29" and viewing the status of resource pools like "List show Flist for 3" and "List show Flist for 9", etc. are ones that come to mind.
My TAM told me to be sure and ask for (and be prepared to defend the need for) any legacy commands and if we could make a valid case they would likely be included.
Can anyone think of anything that's needed and not already available through the GUI?
