Hi

This may be a bit of a dumb question...

How do i install the legacy client to a pc that is running windows 98 ?

I take it i can use a script like sms 2.0 ?

If so where is the client installer and how do i run it ?

I found a client installer in the following share on my sms server.

\\my_sms_server\SMSClient\i386

When i run this it is unable to locate the site server and then asks for a url to the installer. Where am i suppost to point it to ?

Cheers
Craig

Craig,

When manually installing the client on 98, insert the path to the Cap_xxx share on the server in the section that specifies where your server is located.
ie: \my_sms_server\cap_xxx

Hope this helps.
