left margin on duplexside

Hi,

I'm using ESP Ghostscript 8.15.1 for converting PDF to PCL. I have a problem when printing duplex.

The left margin of the backside of the page allways jumps in. Here's my code:

Frontside:
&l0o0l0E&l-180u36Z*r0F&u600D&l1X*rB*p0x0Y*t600R*p+374Y*r1A*b2M*b17Wá

Backside:
&l0o0l0E&l-180u36Z*r0F&u600D&l1X*rB*p0x0Y*t600R*p+353Y*r1A*b2M*b19Wá

I don't have the knowledge to fix or see the problem. Does anyone see the problem?

I'm don't know what you mean by the left margin jumps in, but the <esc>&l-180u... part of the code will be at the root of your problem. This is the sheet offset, and is applied in the opposite direction on the back side than to the front. This is usually to allow extra space for binding. Typically, this command would only be applied at the beginng of the print job.

You might try changing "-180u" to "0u" on both front and back and see what happens. If that does something bad to the format, then leave "-180u" on the front and try "0u" or "180u" (no minus sign) on the back.
