Hi everyone

Im wondering is there a way to alter a left-click behaviour to act as though a right-click action had happened? For example if I had a link and the user left-clicks on it could I say "Hey, on left-click of this link default to the action that would happen on right-click".

Is this possible with html or localised javascript?

Cheers

Ronald

it should be possible with javascript

but an action like that would just piss me off and cause me to NEVER visit your site again! [Hammer]

A full ROI then?

ya pretty much....

Ok is this site for internal use, cuz if it is you should be able to get away with this

The reason I say this is because a browser becomes accustomed to a certain way of navigating and use of his mouse, to swap the functions of the buttons on the mouse, or to even make both buttons do the same could make many feel as though their computer is messed up. I usually never use right click unless i want to save or open a link in a new window!

you might want to try this on the javascript function

(but i warn you this is as annoying as pages that fade in and out, and background music) [Hammer]

Dont worry, its not for commercial reasons, its simply for my own sad little intranetwork that only I have the
(mis)fortune of using - so if its strange behaviour then thats what Im accustomed to lol ;-)
