LED of 3com switch

our company have 20 piece of 3com 4500 switch & 1 piece of 4007, 4060 giga switch. I found that the frequecy of LED flashing is high.

do you have any tool(like Network Supervisor) to check how much traffic go through these switches?

I am not aware of such a utility, but you can contact 3COM support and see if they offer one for your use.

Almost any SNMP capable software can query the switch for that information. I like using MRTG (open-source) because I get pretty graphs of such data with minimal effort.

You can use this to check port statistics, link statistics, etc. The advanced version has some other functionality but the free very is very useful. There is also their high end Network Director which can be demo'd for 60 days if memory serves.
