I've been using Leban's solution for disabling the mouse scroll wheel for months with success. A couple office's have changed their equipment (not the OS). Now, when Access is opened, the scroll wheel is no longer disabled. No code has been changed, the OS is the same, it's just new equipment.
Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have an alternative?
Microsoft's solution involves registering the dll, which is problematic since each office uses a different server and different paths. I'd rather seek a different answer if possible.

By "equipment" do you mean that they've changed PCs but have the same OS? If so you've probably forgotten that Lebans suggests moving a copy of the MouseHook.dll into the same folder where your db resides.

Thanks for the reply Missinglinq.
I should have mentioned that equipment includes PC's, keyboards, mice (mouses?). The database front-end and mousehook.dll were replaced on the new drives from backups made before the equipment updates, while the back-end remained on the unchanged server.
I even replaced the mousehook.dll and front-end again. I added some debugging code to determine if the database was finding the mousehook.dll file - and it does. Everything seems to be the same apart from the new machines, yet I cannot disable the scroll wheel. Very frustrating.
So far, I'm definitely at a loss with this problem.

Given all of that I don't have a clue! I'm going to suggest something here that is kind of unusal; hope no one gets a nose bent out of joint! If I were you, I'd go straight to the horse's mouth, as it were! If you go to the site listed below and post your problem (including the info from your last post here) the chances are very good that Stephen Lebans himself will respond! He's posts answers there on a very regular (almost daily) basis, especially questions about any of his own utilities!

Good Luck!

Thanks Missinglinq, I'll give it a try.
