Leaving Voicemail

I would like to know if it's possible to directly leave a voicemail for someone at another extention. For example, currently if I want to leave a voicemail for extention 16, I have to dial, wait for the Voicemail to pick up, and then I can leave my message. I tried Int 777, but that just asks me to log in, and basically what I am looking for is a direct connection to the specific voicemailbox, without ringing it.

Feature 14 is Direct Voicemail transfer.

If it's a vs 5 or p messaging then log into your mailbox and then press 1 to send a message.

To the best of my knowledge, Feature 14 will only work on active incoming calls, not a cold call.

If a call came into your extension from either and internal or external call you could transfer it directly to VM without ringing the extension, but you could not use Feature 14 to connect directly to VM cold.
