Manys thanks to all the peolple who have put up with my questions whilst iam learning VBA code, but can anybody recommend a good book on it, for developments in Access.

Thanks

The book I used, and recommend, is:

Beginning Access 97 VBA Programming by Robert Smith and David Sussman, WROX Press. There is a 2000 version also.

The reason I liked this book better than some I reviewed is that the authors concentrate on VBA and provide very good step by step exercises and each exercise is fully explained. The book comes with a full set of sample databases with a lot of code examples.

Hope this helps.

The absolute best book (series, actually) on the subject is the Access [Version Number] Developer's Handbook. It's put out by Sybex. It's big, expensive, and intimidating. It will be earn back it's cost in a month, if not faster. Every serious developer I know owns it.
