Learning VB

Is there a recommened way to learn VB. I have been a Visual FoxPro programmer for 2 years and they are similar. But is there a recommended book or some good suggestion where to begin. So far I wrote a small application in the language and the problem I keep running into is the special VB features that are necessary for it to run but which I now not of.
