Hi, I'm in the process of learning ssis need to clarify something with pivoting data.
I have the following data in a data flow task
tektipsimage1_sgnayl.jpg

F1, F2 represent the are the current field names and there could be 100s of fields. Each column basically represents a purchase order.
I'm trying to get the data into the following format
tektipsimage2_fhopql.jpg

Where the first row F1(PO No, ETD,) are the field names.
My understanding is I should just use a pivot tool, I've watched videos on pivoting and unpivoting the data but cant get my head around how do this. I think because its semi pivoted already (po no's going across), I'm just after some assistance as to how I would go about getting the desired output. I'm sure its straight forward but I'm having a mental blank for some reason with this one.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Justin

Eventually solved the issue by using a unpivot followed by a pivot.
