Hi,
I am totally new to MDX queries. I request your help to learn MDX queries. Please let me know where I can get a good introduction and get good text materials for further study. What are the books available in the market for MDX queries.

Thanks and Regards
Balachandar Ganesan.

George Spofford's "MDX Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services" is probably the best book to learn from. SQL BOL is another good source in my opinion covering many functions that are lightly brushed over by the books out there.

Hi,
The books Paul suggests are great! I would also add for the person who is new to MDX a book called "Fast Track to MDX" by Mark Whitehorn and Robert Zare. It's a bit lighter than than Spoffords book but I still think lays a foundation to MDX.

Cheers!
Steve
