hi...
how's the best way to learn max from scratch....?
from making a simple ball if need be ... rendering it...
etc...
to complex model creation/animation...

please... actual links to the best tutorials...
not just general links like 3dcafe.... where there are hundreds of tutorials... and i have to gamble at which ones are a not a waste of time like that of some other newbie posting in his/her own glory lol...

i'd really like to learn this program.. and if there are peps out there... that were in the same boat... and found particuar tutorials that helped them understand the full fundamentals of the program....
that's what i'd like.....
included my icq # too so if you're willin to help on going.. that'd be cool!
thanks a bunch!!

Hi,

first off, Id recommend mainly Autodesk based walk-throughs etc. And one of the best it the ALA CD that comes with the software. This has great step by step guides for simple and complex commands....
you can also get the free ALA download, to interact with support....
go here...
Unfortunatly, Max 4 is a difficult product to learn, and there for the tutorials are long and dont come for free.
Here are some links that have books / CD's you can purchase....

Autodesk e-courses

Autodesk Partners...

other downloads

Some demos.....
Hope you find something! Jay~
