Hi all

I want to learn Novell, but the cost of the beginning course is $2200 in California. Is there a cheaper way to learn Novell?

Buy all the books fom Novell and read them yourself. Dont take the course. You can teach yourself all there is to know to pass the CNA and CNE tests no problem. Get some hands on exp if you can by installing the OS and building a test network.

Good luck

You can download most of their software for free that is fully functional, just limited or demo licensing. That's what I would recommend.

Although when you say you 'want to learn Novell'... that's pretty vague. Novell has lots of different solutions.

I think about buying Novell 6.5 Study Guide at Novell website, but I've heard Novell is coming out with Novell Linux, which I'm not familiar with. Is it worth while to learn Novell 6.5? What about Novell Linux?

Thank you much

VMWare workstation is superb for setting up a multiserver network with workstation. Then you can do all the things in the books.
