Leaked ink cartridges 3

Hello to all!

I have a cartridge (HP) whose expiry date is well past. When I opened it I noticed the ink has leaked into the card box wrapper. Is this a problem? Can I still use the cartridge or should it be discarded? Thanks.

How much do you value the printer? If the cartridge continues to leak you will ruin your printer. We had a case here last year of exactly that, the printer worked for a little while then out it went. And made quite a mess too.

Throw it out, It aint worth ricking it.

And refillers will not do a cartridge that is over one year old.

FWIW, the post last year cleaned out their printer from a leak with a garden hose and let it dry out, then re-lubed the moving parts. Did not work very well.
