Hi,

I am trying to clear out the whole of the 7xxx range in my dialplan for use with an IPT system. The idea is to setup a DSC for 7 and point it to the IPT gateway. BUT the last number I have to remove is 7000, a LDN. I understand I have to keep a LDN and it must be in the DID range (7000-7299). I seem to be stuck with this but I am wondering if...
a. I have missed something
b. If carry on and configure a DSC for 7 but leave the 7000 in place, how will they interact? Does it matter?? Could I just configure the IPT gateway to forward any calls it receives for 7000 to the console?

Any help appreciated, thanks

You can make the LDN any free number. It must be equal to or greater in length than the digits you receive on a PRA, ie you don't have to have an LDN if you are using analogue or DTI trunks. If the LDN doesn't match the incoming ddi pilot number, (which is what you normally associate with the LDN), you will need to use your IDC table

Hi,
I am trying to identify all the CDP's and DSC's in both my Meridian 81C's. All this work was done prior to my arrival here and no documentation is available. I also need to build some new CDP's. Where and how do I start?
Thanks for any info you can provide!

ld 87 for DSC LSC and TSC
ld 86 for RLB and DGT
ld 90 for any SPN

start with printing out what you've got and then go from there.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

try & grab netty.zip

print & capture all your LD86 / 87 / 90 data & save as a text file. Procomm ideal for this. Then open netty & it will run a macro which assembles the data in an easy to see format
