LDK COM1 Printer

Hello again. Does anyone know what printers are compatible with the LDK-20 systems for printing out call records and the like? I assume a dot matrix printer is needed, but once again, information is scarce. I found a previous post in here where someone mentioned they were using an Epson LX 300. Are there any printers that take a serial cable to print, or is there something more complex involved?

Updating my own thread here:

I have an old laptop currently connected via serial in a HyperTerminal like program that is receiving SMDR print-outs to the terminal and is being logged in to a text file that I can pull up on my laptop.

I would prefer to have a printer, but at least I know it works like this. I guess I just need to get a printer that can take a serial cable ?

Indeed a printer that takes rs 232 to 25 pin I think ...? I have the old device note,s on usb stick somewhere I will dig out and post for you
