What are the settings on the processorboard (switches)..?

Try to take out the boards that are not in use, like your ADSLU? Maybe the power supply is a bit overloaded.

hi doktor the switches are:

sw1 is in the on position
sw2 123 are on 4 is off

tis is the same as on the previous system, this morning it was cycling every ten mins so i have removed all not in current use ie adsl voib and serial board seems to be holding now if this carries on i will re-introduce one at a time to see if that works

regards adrian

Please check the power supply in the botton of the Nexer.
There exists a big black capacitor in the middle of the printed circuit board of the PSU.
If the top plate of this capacitor is "flat" it is OK, but if it "bubbles" up, then this could be the problem.

Your settings of the switches;
sw1 is in the on position
