Hi sorry if this has been asked before.

what software version is this and what would I be able to upgrade to

All help appreciated

Barry

2.0cj you at least can go to 2.2

But to go any higher you will need mbpn and asmu

Thanks for your reply,

would there be any benefits to upgrade to 2.2 & if so, can I get these upgrades online??
I am currently trying to connect to system using ldk-pcadmin c.9ia but cant connect. Is this because the software levels do not match up??

I have another processor with asmu daughter board attached, though the battery on board is not working so when system loses power my system defaults. Is the software saved to asmu board? & if so would I be able replace pmu board on good processor with asmu board and that will take software level to 3.0

Yes, the software is on Asmu, if battery fails you lose all programming user data but not the sw. If you replace with new asmu on old MPB you have also to mount a dmemu to upgrade to ultimate software.

if you can solder, you can replace the battery on the MPB. I use SB1771 1/2AA 3.6v rechargable.

In answer to the benefits of upgrading to 2.2 i would have to jump into my time machine as my brain does not remember that far back :) ... any benefit would be negligible ...as suggested use the new mpb / asmu obtain a dmemu (if using old mpb) , or solder a replacement battery on the newer MPB and bump it to 3.9.

Bear in mind to take back ups and you will need to activate every feature from 2.2 to 3.9 in programming after upgrade due to out of date backup database that you will be installing.

Hi Barry,
If your system is working ok on v2.0 - then best to leave it there.
If you have a new processor with the appropriate ASMU, software etc - then I would upgrade to the very latest v3.9.
If you have to start reprogramming and doing loads of work - do it just once.

Regards
Steve
